The
Overton Brooks VAMC and our associated
CBOC's (Community Based Outpatient Clinics)
are part of the South Central Health
Care Network, VISN 16. "VISN" stands
for
Veterans Integrated Service Network,
and is one of 22 VISN's in the U.S.
Department of Veterans Affairs. VISN
16 provides comprehensive inpatient
and outpatient health care, and limited
nursing home and domiciliary care,
to eligible veterans of the U.S. Armed
Services. health care services are
provided through a network of medical
centers, outpatient clinics, nursing
homes and domiciliaries located in
Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma,
and Texas.
