Overton Brooks VA Medical Center (OBVAMC), Shreveport, LA, and the VA Community Based Outpatient Clinics in Monroe, LA, Texarkana, AR and Longview, TX will be offering free flu shots to enrolled veterans.  Flu shots will be administered during scheduled clinic appointments or at special walk-in flu shot clinics (see schedule below).    Getting a flu shot, as part of a preventative medicine program, is encouraged.  To find out more information about how to prevent the flu and what to do if you get the flu, visit The Center for Disease Control.
